The role

You own the AI layer end to end: architecture, LLM integration, agent workflows, evaluation, and shipping to production. You work directly with the founders and set the technical direction the future team inherits. Based in Berlin.

Your tasks

• Design and ship LLM-powered product features — from first prototype to production.
• Build the agent and orchestration layer: retrieval, tool use, evaluation, monitoring.
• Own model selection and the cost/latency/quality trade-offs across providers.
• Set the engineering standards the next hires build on.

Your profile

• You have shipped LLM-based features to real users in production — not demos.
• Strong software engineering foundation; fluent in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Pragmatic about models: you evaluate, measure, and swap rather than commit to one provider.
• English is the working language; German is a plus, not a requirement.
